The invitation

We live in a world that constantly asks us to move faster, achieve more, and look outside ourselves for answers. There is another way of living, in a slower rhythm, with more trust in life and gratitude for what we already have. This is our natural rhythm we have forgotten about.

The Art of Slow Living & Conscious Rest is a twelve-day journey into this way of living, designed to offer you experiences and tools to embody it and to feel that it is within reach.

This retreat is created with the intention of restoring your energy flow by reconnecting you with nature and its elements, and helping you feel alive once again by awakening all your senses.

Why Bali

After living in Bali for fifteen years, I can say that the island offers a very different rhythm of living and a different perspective on life. A rhythm with less rushing, more gratitude, and a deep relationship with nature and divinity in everyday activities.

Bali has simply taught me another way of living, and you are invited to experience it together with me. The Balinese relationship with nature, ritual, food, community and the elements will become part of our days.

Tri Hita Karana

The anchor of Balinese culture, a model for keeping harmony with the land, the people and the Gods, considered essential for a balanced life.

Here, the environment itself becomes part of daily life.
And we will slow down together enough to experience it.
The journey

Four places, four elements

We will explore four locations over the days we spend together and four elements of nature, both around us and within us.

Ubud

Land & culture

We begin here, connecting with the land and immersing ourselves in Balinese culture.

Munduk

Water & abundance

Chasing waterfalls, learning about coffee and chocolate, tasting an abundent diversity of tropical fruits.

Photo 3

Tejakula

Sea & nourishment

Our journey continues by the sea, where we take some space for nourishment and reflection.

Creativity & craft

We close among the rice fields, exploring the work of local craftsmen, as we connect with our creative fire.

Our yoga, movement and circle practices will carry these four elements through the whole journey.

The experience

One continuous rhythm

Yoga practices, nature, pleasure, nourishment, exploration and deep rest become part of a continous experience, rather than items on a schedule.

Nature & the Elements

Time outdoors, walks through rice fields and local villages, being close to the land and the water, and enjoying the warmth of the sun. Connecting with nature becomes part of our daily practice.

Movement & Stillness

Mornings bring movement, breath, and awareness into the body. Evenings invite stillness and integration. We will practice Yin, Yang, and Nidra Yoga together, exploring the four elements as themes as we connect with our inner nature.

Balinese Rituals & Culture

Ceremonies and rituals, local food and handicrafts, traditional bodywork, and moments of connection with the local community in authentic villages will also be part of our journey as we explore different areas of Bali.

Nourishment & Pleasure

Freshly prepared local meals, spices and colourful fruits, coffee and chocolate, tropical flowers, massages, and spa time will awaken all our senses on this journey, teaching us how to feel again.

Creativity & Exploration

When we slow down, creativity often returns on its own. There will be space for intuitive and playful practices to express ourselves and rediscover our own power to create with our hands.

Rest & Spaciousness

Time to rest in a hammock, read or journal by the river, walk through spacious rice fields, be alone, or connect with others. Rest is not what happens between the activities of the retreat, but the retreat itself.

A glimpse of the days

Simplicity is our luxury

Each day carries a gentle, adaptable rhythm, enough for the nervous system to relearn safety in a natural environment. Some days invite more exploration, others are intentionally spacious, flexible enough for us to listen to what the body needs.
